The main questions are 1) whether the shoe competes with race-day rivals from competing brands and 2) whether it has improved from the Vaporfly 3. In my opinion, the Vaporfly 4 clarifies the Nike line-up, leaving the Alphafly as your marathon shoe and the Vaporfly 4 for everything shorter.
