About This Video

In this video I’m kicking off my 2026 planner setup with Part 1: my Daily Log—aka the place where my real-life to-do list actually lives. 2026 is the first year I’m making a BIG change in how I plan, and I wanted to show you how I’m building a Classic Happy Planner checklist system that stays functional while still giving me those vintage Victorian, fairycore vibes. The whole goal here is practical: I want daily planning that’s easy to use, easy to maintain, and pretty enough that I’m excited to open it. I put this planner together using what I already had on hand—dividers, filler paper, undated inserts, and covers—because I’m trying to save on material costs and keep things more sustainable. I’m using the Happy Planner Miss Maker undated checklist layout refills as the backbone, plus the Essential Dates and Numbers sticker book for the functional bits. Then I layer in deco (because obviously) with Black Petal Stationery (formerly Mushieworks) and some LiveLovePosh stickers, and I finish it off with clear dividers and a bookish cover moment that feels like it belongs in a storybook. If you want to see how I’m building a cohesive 2026 system, this is the foundation.
