About This Video

In this video, I’m being super honest about the “internet influenced me” products that went viral… but unfortunately didn’t work for me. I share 4 items I bought during sales (mostly around November) and explain exactly why they didn’t stand out on my skin/body—because not every viral product is automatically good. I’m not here to pinpoint any brand; I’m just sharing my real experience so you don’t waste your money. I start with a Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus & Spearmint body wash that I genuinely loved using (the fragrance and shower experience are amazing), but the price point is what disappointed me the most—₹1800–₹2000 for a body wash just doesn’t feel worth it to me. Then I talk about Plum’s 10% Niacinamide serum that claimed brightening from first use and fading blemishes, but it did nothing for my skin—so I started using it on my underarms just to finish it and not waste my own money. I also share my thoughts on Plum BodyLovin’ Vanilla Caramello lotion: I like the fragrance and hydration, but on my oily/sweaty body the scent barely lasts 1–2 hours, which defeats the purpose. Lastly, the L’Oréal Paris micro-essence with salicylic acid actually broke me out and gave me tiny bumps, so I stopped. My biggest takeaway: do your research, and start with a smaller size/sample before committing.
