Today was one of those simple but amazing days that reminds you how good life can be. The day starts off at church, spending time in worship, hearing a great message, and getting recharged for the week ahead. After church, the adventure begins with some dumpster diving in a wealthy neighborhood, and you wouldn’t believe the things people throw away! From useful items to awesome surprises, we ended up finding so many great things that were still perfectly good. It’s always exciting to see what treasures might be waiting and to give items a second life instead of letting them go to waste. After a fun afternoon of treasure hunting, it’s time to head back home, cook up a wonderful dinner, and relax after a full day. Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without hanging out with my pup Berea the Labradoodle, who’s always ready for some love and relaxation after a long day of adventures.
