Add in some urbanism, fairly deep conversations, and whatever else happens to pop up naturally along the way… and you’ve got the gist of our podcast! And when I say “our”, I mean that I’ll be talking with a variety of guests, who, just like you and I, are just regular people living their everyday lives, doing everyday things! All I can say for sure is that SO many people have SO many great perspectives, no matter if THEY initially think that they’re “not all that impressive or important”... but like, this podcast is about REAL people and their everyday stories… and I’m a strong believer that “average life” is SO MUCH more significant than one-off days. Who knows, maybe YOU, listening to these words coming out of my mouth right now, have just found “your people”! Now, I live in London, Ontario, Canada, so most of the time these podcasts will feature Londoners… but who knows what the future might bring? It’s called the Wheels and Beyond Podcast because we humans typically travel on wheels in some way, shape, or form when traversing this li’l planet of ours… and that’s a good starting point for a LOT of our conversations. People are passionate about the ways that they get around. And for everything else that doesn’t fit into the “Wheels category”, well, that’s where Beyond takes over! And although I have a hint of bias towards getting around by bicycle or ebikes, because that's my preferred method of transportation, I'm excited to say that I'll be talking with guests who get around in other ways! Like mobility devices, wheelchairs, walking, busing, tricycling, and even driving! Because we all are just trying to get around our cities in the best ways that we can.
