(^.^) In this video I tested the Maybelline Superstay Vinyl Ink Longwear Liquid Lipcolor with swatches, mini reviews, and a real wear test—because I really wanted to know: is a high-shine lipstick really long-wearing? I also shared the packaging details (sturdy square tube that won’t roll, "vinyl" embossed, and a slanted doe-foot that fits nicely on my lips), plus my thoughts on the shine level. By the name “vinyl ink” I expected super duper glossy, but on my lips it’s more of a subtler shine—still very pretty and vibrant. I swatched the shades and talked about how pigmented they are (my lips are pale, but one layer is already good enough). As someone with naturally dry lips, I noticed some initial dryness with a few shades, but it lessened after a while and felt more comfortable. The big thing to know: they’re sticky, so dry crumbly food like potato chips and biscuits can cling to your lips. For the longevity test, I wore shade 60 Mischievous from 10:43 a.m. up to 12 hours. The gloss slowly faded into a more creamy matte finish, with only slight fading in the inner center after oily meals—yet from a distance the color still looked intact. Overall, I’m impressed: long-lasting, vibrant, minimal transfer (though tissue can stick), and best removed with an oil-based remover.
