GJIA 130W Linear High Bay Lights Tested

Going by typical light bulbs, it would be 800 lumens for 7 watts. Which translates to around 15,000 lumen output when using 130W of power. But since this light saves some overhead from not having to have a driver for each light bulb, then it saves some power. The net effect is being able to output 19,500 lumens with 130 Watts. I measured this and go around 17,400 lumens but with some light leakage to the sides that I did not add up. Still, it is close enough for my ball park measurements to verify roughly the light output amount. The product does run a bit hot at 157F after being on for 10 minutes. Usually, running hot may reduce the MTBF (i.e. time it can run for before it fails) but I cannot give an opinion on how long this will actually last without running it for an extended amount of time. Personally, I would like to see some serious heat sinks right behind the LEDs to dissipate some heat as it pushes 130 Watts of energy through there. #gjia #highbaylights #warehouselights #ledlighting Don’t beat around the bush, beat the bush!
