Lost Between France and Italy | A Rough Alpine Route

After finishing the Via del Sale and crossing into France, the plan was simple: find a way back into Italy. The reality was anything but. This route quickly turned steep, rocky, and heavily cut up, demanding slow speeds, careful line choice, and full concentration. What looked straightforward on the map became a proper challenge on a big adventure bike. In this episode, I work my way through rough alpine terrain along the border, dealing with loose rock, erosion, and moments of uncertainty. It’s a reminder that in the mountains, borders are easy to cross, but the roads don’t always cooperate.
