Heading into high Alpine passes knowing they were already covered in snow was a deliberate risk. Conditions were cold, traction was limited, and turning back wasn’t always an option. On a big adventure bike, every decision mattered as snow, ice, and steep terrain closed in. This ride wasn’t about proving anything, but about commitment, control, and staying calm when the plan starts to unravel. Against the odds, I made it through, but not without moments that demanded focus and respect for the mountains.
