Every Turn Felt Wrong | Wet Alpine Passes Before the Snow

Riding high Alpine passes just before winter is a gamble, and this one felt wrong from the very first turn. As snow crept closer, I pushed on over Colle del Assietta in cold, wet, and unpredictable conditions. Slippery gravel, poor visibility, and constant second-guessing kept the tension high throughout the ride. This wasn’t about speed or bravado, but about judgement, limits, and knowing when a mountain might be winning.
