Conquering the infamous sand sections of the Portugal Trans Euro Trail was already a challenge, but the day wasn’t finished yet. In Episode 11 of my Portugal TET adventure, I finally make it through the deep sand of Section 5 and continue the ride into more sandy trails before the landscape suddenly opens into quiet farmland. Just when things start to feel calm, two dogs appear and quickly turn into one of those moments every adventure rider eventually faces on the trail. In this episode I share how I deal with dogs while riding and the method I use to stay calm and avoid making a bad situation worse.
