About This Video

In the first TechTalk of 2026, I kick things off the way TechTalk always goes: a little chaos, a little troubleshooting, and a lot of real talk. We start with the whole “AI undressing people” insanity (yeah… Grok doing Grok things), then immediately fall into the classic live-stream gremlin hunt—why the TTS alerts are echoing, why YouTube’s layout is still trash, and why something always breaks the second you hit “Go Live.” We end up rerouting audio, killing desktop audio, isolating Stream Elements, and finally getting the stream sounding clean. After that, we get into the meat: PC gaming hardware prices going completely off the rails, and what happens when the industry keeps prioritizing AI/datacenter parts over consumer GPUs and RAM. I talk through why 4K is massively overrated for most gamers, why 1440p is the real sweet spot, and why refresh rate (up to a point) matters more than pixel-peeping. We also dig into consoles creeping up in price, the naming disaster that makes it way too easy to buy the wrong Xbox, and the bigger fear—if memory and GPU supply keeps getting squeezed, the next console generation either gets delayed or shows up at a price that’s just stupid.
