And honestly, this is one of those devices that’s getting misunderstood in 2025—because in real life it’s way better than I expected. The design is still peak Nothing, the branding is super confident, and the Glyph Matrix is actually fun and useful in a way that feels different from every other slab phone. That said, I’m not pretending it’s perfect. The biggest thing holding it back right now is software polish. There are a few flaws that I really want Nothing to tighten up, and I’m hoping Nothing OS 4.0 addresses most of it because the foundation here is strong. If you’re in Canada, Nothing is exclusive at Best Buy, and you can use their cell phone trade-in program to get an estimate and potentially grab the Phone 3 for less. Overall, if you’ve been writing this phone off, I’d take a second look—because as a daily driver, it surprised me in the best way.
