Wild Camping on the Fairfield Horseshoe in the Lake District!

I came to the Lake District to take on the Fairfield Horseshoe with the aim of wild camping halfway through. This is a classic, strenuous hiking trail starting at Rydal, or Ambleside. This 10+ mile route is ideal for a challenging backpacking route too. My backpacking gear weighed approx 12kg including food, water and a couple of beers.
