What went wrong?!?

Long time no speak! 2025 certainly didn't go to plan for me and that meant taking a break from my Backpacking UK content. There were plenty of highs though, some epic winter camping, great hiking trail and amazing backpacking adventures. I changed my job after 21 years. This was an extremely difficult time for me as I dedicated so much of my life to my previous employment. I was forced to sell my newly built campervan to buy a car after being fortunate enough to have been provided with a company car for all those years. Lastly, I severely hurt my ankle. Even after 3 months, it's still not fixed. However, after a Christmas break I'm refreshed, energised and super motivated for 2026. I've got some super plan including multi-day backpacking trips, long distance hikes and some new wild camping locations.
