Wet & Windy Wild Camping in Snowdonia on Moel Siobod

This week we are Wild Camping in Snowdonia. During the day we reached the summit of Moel Siobod with our day bags on. With then got our big backpacking bags and went back up to wild camp at a disused quarry. It is a stunning wild camping location in Wales. There were lots of places to wild camp but we decided to pitch our backpacking tents by the old quarry houses about halfway up Moel Siobod. This gave us some protection from camping in the rain. However, you will see this only gave us a little protection from the elements. The mountain of Moel Siobod provides lots of wild camping spots where you can go camping discreetly. Camping in the wind is never good. I broke another set of Rode Wireless Go mics. That's the 3rd set this year. They clearly don't like the wind and rain. I do love backpacking in Snowdonia. It's easy to find a remote place to explore with minimal interaction. Probably because most people are climbing Snowdon.
