Ultralight Decathlon Forclaz MT900 Trekking Tarp Tent! 920g for £129!

The Decathlon Forclaz MT900 trekking tarp tent is probably the most watched backpacking tent review video this year. The ultralight Forclaz MT900 solo tent weighs 920 grams and costs just £129. Despite being a lightweight tent, it has reasonable dimensions with a 95cm high, 225cm length and a tapered 50cm to 60cm width. This is a single door, single 60cm vestibule tent. Saying that, I would still only use this backpacking tent for 3 season use and it certainly wouldn't be my chosen solo tent to use in bad weather conditions. This is called 'minimal editions' which means it uses no tent fabric dye. The benefits are it's good for the environment and the white reflects some of the suns heat. The drawbacks are that it'll get dirty very quickly, it's not very stealthy and it'll be fairly see-through too. The fly is a 20D fabric with a HH rating of 2000mm.
