We took on the Dragon's Back hiking trail in the Peak District National Park. The Dragons Back is made up of Parkhouse Hill and Chrome Hill. Personally, I think the best way to approach this hike is from Earl Sterndale just south of Buxton. Parkhouse Hill is the smaller but more difficult mini mountain. It's a perfect introduction to mountain hiking with a steep incline and a bit of scrambling. Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/backpacking_uk/ Chrome Hill is the larger of the two and when you reach the summit and look back you can see why people call it the Dragons Back. I'd highly recommend this route. We completed the shorter 5 mile route to the east but there's also another great 6 mile route to the west.
