It's the school summer holidays and we went to Dovedale in the Peak District National Park and go hiking and exploring along the River Dove. There's lots to do including the Dove Dale Stepping Stones, Tissington Spires, Reynard's Cave, Ilam Rock and Dove Holes before arriving at Milldale. The whole walk from the National Trust Dovedale Car Park to Milldale and back is just over 6 miles or 10k. However, it doesn't feel too bad because there's so much to explore.
