I used the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 in this Minecraft test because it’s a true budget CPU option — I even got mine used. It’s a 4 core / 8 thread chip, and in 2025 it’s definitely old, but it’s still worth testing to see what kind of real-world Minecraft performance you can get.
