Sphagnum Moss
I used sphagnum moss as part of my bioactive builds to help hold moisture in the right spots. It’s one of those staples I always end up reaching for with tropical species like my crested gecko and chubby frog.
Pros
- +Great for moisture retention
- +Useful for tropical enclosures
Cons
- -Too much can keep areas overly damp if you overdo it
