About This Video

All right, listen up—this one is not a “here’s how to build a clean design system in Figma” kind of day. In this video I jump into a UX “game” called UserInyerface, and it’s basically a masterclass in how to make a form as painful as humanly possible. The whole point is to fill in a form fast, but every single screen is designed to mess with you: confusing CTAs (a big “Cancel” and a ghosted “Next”), popups that won’t die, a cookie banner that literally scrolls you away, and a close button hidden behind a “Lock/Unlock” pattern like… who thought this was okay? As I play it live—unedited, unscripted—you get my real reactions while the UI does everything wrong: fake placeholders you have to delete, password rules that force you to include a letter from your email, passwords visible while typing (come on, man), “upload” that downloads instead, interest selection that makes you unselect everything first, and even entering a phone number one digit at a time. The best part is how it stacks anxiety on top of confusion with timers, blinking elements, and mismatched states (active looks inactive and vice versa). Takeaway: this is funny, but it’s also a reminder that tiny UX decisions compound into chaos. It took me 11 minutes to finish something that should take 1–2 minutes—and that’s the whole lesson.
