Figma Config 2025 is here, and it's come bearing gifts. They launched 4 new products with many new features. And in this, I will try to go over a few of them briefly.

About This Video

In this video I watched the whole Figma Config keynote so you don’t have to watch the whole damn Config, and I break down the 4 new products (plus a bunch of key features) that Figma just dropped. I go feature by feature, but the main goal is simple: what’s actually new, what’s worth caring about for UI/UX folks, and what’s going to be free vs paid—and when you can get access. First up is the new Grid feature in layouts. You can turn a frame into a proper grid with rows and columns, adjust counts, and build bento-style layouts with way more structure than auto layout alone. Then we’ve got Figma Sites, a separate product that’s basically Figma’s direct swing at Framer/Webflow: copy-paste your web designs and publish a real site, with responsiveness plus interactions/animations (still beta, so don’t get your hopes too high). Figma Buzz is the bulk marketing editor thing—honestly I don’t see much value for designers like me, but it’ll make sense for some teams. Figma Draw is a new mode inside Design with better vector tools, brushes, textures/patterns, dynamic strokes, and a progressive blur I actually really like. Finally, Figma Make is the AI product for generating interactive designs with code—cool, but early and messy, so take it with a pinch of salt.
