JTR Kallos 2.2 Speaker Listening Event

Jeff Permanian, owner of JTR Speakers, hosted an exclusive listening event at MaximumAV in Tampa to debut the impressive new Kallos series—a more lifestyle-friendly take on the legendary JTR sound. The lineup includes two on-wall/stand-mount models, the 265 and 465, plus a high-excursion sealed 12" subwoofer powered by a beastly 2 kW amp. This compact sub is no joke—it borrows engineering from JTR’s iconic 18" driver and delivers serious, room-shaking performance in a smaller footprint. This system is capable of 123dB max SPL and can be run with modest amplification. Finished in beautiful Baltic birch, the Kallos 2.2 system stunned attendees with its full-scale, dynamic sound that completely defied expectations for its size.
