The Letshuoer Astralis is a warm-leaning planar IEM with genuinely satisfying bass texture and punch, plus forward female vocals that stay fun without getting shouty to my ears. It’s easy to drive, built like a classic Letshuoer metal-shell planar, and it lands as a really strong value compared to pricier “friendly fire” like the Ember.
Pros
+Strong subbass rumble and punch with good texture
+Forward, energetic female vocals without harshness to my ears
+Smooth, controlled treble with enough sparkle to avoid sounding overly dark
+Easy to drive for a planar; production units include a USB-C dongle
+Solid metal build, good ventilation, no driver flex/pressure issues for me
+Modular screw-on cable with good handling and low microphonics
Cons
-Design/faceplate looks a bit bland to me
-Soundstage and imaging are solid but average for the price bracket
-Accessories are similar to cheaper Letshuoer sets; could be more premium
-Failed my tiny ears seal test when smiling/talking
