The Melody Wings Venus is a $170 hybrid IEM that surprised me with how natural it sounds while still bringing real midbass punch and a little sparkle up top. My main warning is a bit of uneven treble excitableness on certain tracks, but overall it’s a strong value and a legit “dark horse” pick in this bracket.

Cons
- -Treble can be uneven/occasionally aggressive on some recordings
- -Fit may not work for smaller ears (failed my wife’s tiny ear test)
- -Cable stereo marking is hard to see and the modular nut isn’t captive
