In this video, I go through a behind the scenes example of how to create an evergreen automatic follow up sequence. In this example, I use Kartra, but you can apply the same principles to any email marketing automation software (such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Aweber, Infusionsoft, ConvertKit, etc). But following up with leads over the short term and long term is one of the best ways to convert more leads into sales appointments and clients. In this video, I show you two automatic follow up email sequences you can create: 1st Follow up Sequence: Create a short 3-10 day follow up email sequence that gets sent to leads EVERY Day. If you don't email them every day as soon as they opt-in to consume your free content, they will most likely forget who you are, unsubscribe or mark you as spam. 2nd Follow up sequence: Create a weekly email follow up sequence that ALL leads are put into. I recommend emailing leads once or twice a week with helpful free educational content. In my own business, I email both leads, prospects AND clients to stay top of mind and provide them with more value. Every email you send out should also have a call-to-action sending them back to your primary goal (such as a sales appointment, buy something online, etc). Keep following up with leads until they either convert into a client or unsubscribe. If you're providing a lot of value in every email, chances are they will stay subscribed for a very long time. There is no end date to following up with leads. Keep following up with leads forever. :)
