Check out Evolution Tools at the link below https://store.evolutionpowertools.com/collections/miter-saws/products/r185sms_plus?ref=DOUGBOYD I really enjoy using my Evolution Power Tools for my daily metal work. The Evo380, Rage 2 and Evo Mag are hardy and can handle the daily use I put them through. In this video I assemble and use the the 10" sliding miter saw to see if it stands up to the test. While I wouldn't recommend this saw to someone that cuts metal on a daily basis, I would however say that this saw might be a good fit for a occasional woodworker or hobbyist. The motor didn't give me the impression of power. And while it did cut through the metal samples, it felt like it labored a bit. I will say that it was more than likely due to the blade. The miter saw came with a 24 tooth blade and I use a 66 tooth blade on my metal chops from Evolution. I would also point out a flaw in the sliding fence. In the closed position, it is not possible to cut any bevel without out cutting through the fence. The fence must be moved before a bevel cut can be made. It's my opinion that it's an accident waiting to happen. Having a sliding fence with and angle built into it ensures safety and makes it "idiot proof"...because I was the idiot that cut into it without seeing the problem before I cut. Overall, It's a nice lightweight sliding miter saw. I can see this being the saw to take out on jobs. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video.
