Maybe because I knew it was for someone special and I always say, the most value thing you can give someone is your time. Art or handmade in general, to me is a physical manifestation of that time that can be kept for a long time. In this video, although different from what I normally do, you’ll get to see how I upcycle this rocking horse. From minor repairs, to painting, customizing with initials and of course give it a new mane and tail. I’ll be honest, the latter is probably what I was the most nervous about.
