Casting The NHL Stanley Cup From Zinc Ingots - Lost Wax Casting

In this video I'll be casting a mini version of the NHL Stanley Cup hockey trophy. I 3D printed the model using polycast filament which burns out cleanly when doing lost wax casting. I used investment plaster to make a mold of the stanley cup before burning out the wax. I then melted down some zinc ingots in my ToAuto electric furnace and poured the molten metal into the mold. I used the electric furnace to keep a controlled temperature so the zinc wouldn't over heat and boil. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and hit that Subscribe button for more.
