Casting Silver Cyborg Santa! - Melting Metal INTO Christmas Sci-Fi Art

In this video I'll be casting my customed designed silver cyborg santa for Christmas. I modeled up the cyborg santa design in blender and then printed it on my 3d printer. I choose not to paint or prime it all for this as I wanted some of the lines to show for texture. I made a mold of the design in Petrobond casting sand and then melted down some scrap aluminum ingots. I poured the molten metal into the mold and waited for it to solidify. I cleaned it up by removing the sprues and sanding down the piece with my rotary tool. I then wanted to add some color so I painted the hat and beard leaving the face silver and robotic looking.
