Casting GOLDEN Crucible Tongs - Melting Aluminum Bronze At Home

In this video I'll be casting home made golden crucible tongs from aluminum bronze. I'll called up my friend BigstackD and had him send me some photos of the tongs he uses. I then used Fusion 360 to model a pair for myself. After, I 3D printed the model and cast the parts in petrobond sand using a mix of roughly 90% copper and 10% aluminum that I got from 303 Casting. I finished by sanding and polishing the parts and used a nut and bolt to secure them together. These new tongs work great and were very easy to make.
