Casting A Solid Aluminum License Plate From Scrap - Back To The Future Replica Prop

In this video I'll be melting down some scrap aluminum and casting it into a replica of the Back To The Future license plate as seen in the first movie. I 3D printed the movie prop and made a mold of it in petrobond sand. I then melted down the aluminum ingots and cast the mold. I finished the license plate with simply a wire brush and a band saw to remove the sprue, gate and runner. If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and hit that Subscribe button for more.
