Casting A HAPPY MEAL Toy In Bronze - "Sonic The Hedgehog"

In this video I'll be casting Tails from Sonic The Hedgehog in solid bronze. This is an easy way to make a replica in metal from just about anything out there I just chose to use a happy meal toy figurine. I started by getting a happy meal from McDonalds and 3d scanning the plastic toy using my 3d scanner. I then printed out the scan on my 3d printer using polycast castable filament. I used investment plaster to make a mold of the print which would then be burned out in my kiln. I then melted down some scrap brass and poured the molten metal into the mold cavity. I cleaned it up by removing the sprues and sanding and polishing it until it had a mirror finish.
