Casting A Custom License Plate Frame - Simple Aluminum Metal Casting

In this video I will be casting a custom aluminum license plate frame from scrap metal. I made a 3D model of the design in a previous video and printed it in PLA plastic. I then made a mold of the frame using casting sand. I melted down some scrap aluminum ingots from when I melted my entire boat and poured the molten metal into the sand mold. I then sanded down the edges and painted the letters to make them stand out before placing the new frame on my car.
