Steps - Start by duplicating your layer the short cut is cmd + j or ctrl +j depending on your operating system, next grab your quick selection tool and make a selection of your subject then press cmd or ctrl + J to create a new layer of the subject pull your 2 portal images across in front of your subject and use the free transform tool to resize or move hold shift to keep the dimension and change the blend mode to screen create a layer mask and remove any parts with the color black and the brush tool. when this done enhance the brightness by using the brightness and contrast adjustment layer and bumping the brightness level up. next select your subject and select blending options and drop shadow pull your shadow across and with the free transform option right click and select vertical use the perspective option to pull the shadow into position next apply a blur affect by select filter - blur - gaussian blur and add a radius of about 6px add a layer mask and with a light opacity lighten the shadow next pull your snow background layer and pull it across the portal use the free transform option to resize your image create a layer mask and with the paint fill tool fill your layer mask with black now select the color white and with your brush tool paint till the background is inside the portal you may also unclip the snowy background layer and move the background to another desired position. next, create a curves adjustment layer and darken the image by pulling the middle slider down.
