How to Wing Surf Upwind on a SUP by Installing a Centerboard

I have been learning how to use a surf wing but going upwind on a SUP is difficult. I fix this by retrofitting my 8' SUP with a finbox and centerboard. Something found in windsurf board and sailboats. My ultimate goal is to learn how to use the surf wing on a foil board. This all helping me learn how to foil. After installing the centerboard going upwind on the SUP with the surf wing is not an issue!
