About This Video

In this video I break down my top 10 best-selling 3D assets across my marketplaces and show the real numbers. I’m talking Fab first (because honestly, I haven’t seen anyone share Fab data publicly), then TurboSquid, CGTrader, and Unity. I walk through what the analytics actually look like on each platform, what’s annoying about them (Fab makes you download everything; CGTrader analytics kind of suck), and how I built my own Google Sheet to compare performance over the last ~2 years (I’m filming this in October 2025). The big takeaway: the stuff that makes money is often simple. On Fab, things like jackets sold 50+ times, and when I sort by revenue, my biggest clothing collection comes out on top at around $8,500 in about a year and a half—built largely from existing models and also selling as separate pieces inside other outfits. On TurboSquid, older uploads still dominate (like my anatomy model from 2019 doing about $21k total), which shows the long tail is real. I also compare how the same types of assets perform across platforms and why, from my results, Fab (and to an extent Unity) can be easier right now than CGTrader. The point isn’t to flex—it’s to prove this pipeline works, and to get you thinking about what kinds of assets can produce similar returns for the time invested.
