This is from a previous Patreon video. For the most current tutorials, please visit https://www.patreon.com/andreanelson We start with a little tour of some of my houseplants (I do not show you all of them because then it really would have been 800 minutes.) I took pictures of some of them and put them together in a file, which is available on Patreon. I worked from the photo reference, but if I were doing this on my own, I would probably have tried to paint them from life. If houseplants aren't your thing, there's still plenty to be learned from this tutorial, and from the idea in general because you can do this with literally anything in your environment, or things that aren't in your physical space but you gather pictures of. You'll see several different approaches. Some we put the paint down first. Some we sketch. Some we use wet on wet. Some are more about the paint, while others are all about the details. Some start strong and then go womp womp, and others feel like a tragedy and turn out really great. Art is life man. All that is to say that I hope this is beneficial to you in some way. I sure had fun making it! Supplies used for this are on my website at https://www.cozylark.com/
