About This Video

Friends, hello!! In this mid-month update for March in the 2024 Movie Marquee Challenge, I’m popping in to show you where I’m at on my March blanket section—this month is inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s, and I am having such a fun time translating that vibe into yarn. I’m co-hosting the challenge this year with The Crochet Witch and Bella’s Crocheted Gifts, and honestly it’s been such a blast getting to chat movies, pick themes, and then actually see how everybody’s brains turn those ideas into stitches. In this update, I’m showing off my progress so far and talking through an idea I have to add a little something extra to the section (because of course I do—my projects always end up needing “one more thing”). If you’re doing the challenge along with us, I also point you toward Heather’s Facebook group so you can share your makes, and I’ve got my full Movie Marquee playlist linked so you can binge the whole adventure. For stitch inspiration, I’m using Sarah Hazell’s Crochet Stitch Dictionary as a reference (not an affiliate link!), and I’m basically using it like a little spellbook of textures when I want to level up a section.
