I picked up two Murakami (Multicolor) pieces: the Murakami card holder and the little Louis Vuitton dragon charm. The card holder was on my wish list the first time around and I was so excited to finally get it. I also have two more pieces on the way through Nordstrom, so I’ll share those as soon as they come in.

I’m loving the CHANEL Poudre Universelle Libre in shade 10 (Light). It looks scary because it’s white, but it blends in so beautifully and gives the skin the prettiest smooth veil. I’m 44 (almost 45) and I’m really mindful with powders, and this one has replaced my Laura Mercier.

I repurchased Chanel La Mousse (the cream-to-foam cleanser). It lathers up so nicely and I use it to help get my makeup off at the end of the day. I first tried it from a Chanel holiday kit and I’ve been hooked ever since—those kits really get you.

It’s an eyeshadow and blush palette from the Rouge Noir Confidence collection, and the colors are so beautiful. I love the burgundy compact, and I plan to use a lot of the shades as blushes. Chanel powders can feel a little dry at first, but once you work your brush in, they blend really nicely.

I picked up the Shark dryer brush (like a blow dryer brush). My daughter has really thick, curly hair and straightening it takes forever, so I’m hoping this helps speed things up. Another lacrosse mom with curly hair recommended it, so we’ll see how it works.
