I hope you have a wonderful day :) Ingredients : 3 pounds of apples (roughly 8 apples) I chose Granny Smith 1/4 cup of white sugar 1/2 cup of brown sugar 3 tablespoons of melted butter 1/2 teaspoon of salt cinnamon to your taste any other spices you might like to add like nutmeg, cloves, or a spice blend 1 tablespoon of vanilla ( I used vanilla paste ) 3 tablespoons of flour 1 egg 1 tablespoon of water Directions : Peel and slice your apples into thin slices and place in a large bowl in medium bowl add sugars, flour, spices, salt and give it a whisk. Then add in melted butter and vanilla and whisk into a crumbly paste. Add mixture to the apples and using your hands combine until apples are evenly covered. Add to bottom pie crust Addy your top pie crust or lattice on top of apples. Follow directions in the video for lattice and folding of the pastry dough. Mix together egg and water and brush onto the top of your pie and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375-400 for one hour and using a wooden skewer or a fork check the apples for doneness Enjoy Please watch video for direct step by step instructions :)
