Last year they sold more than 25,000. Q3 and Q4 are Tesla’s two best quarters of the year so it makes sense to start selling a refresh when people are traditionally buying. Model S and X have taken a back seat to the Model 3 with features the redesigned HVAC and 250 kW charge rate. With Tesla’s recent update to S and X suspension and range, it appears Tesla is putting their flagship vehicles back in the driver’s seat of luxury. There is one really interesting point: It appears like Model S and X If Tesla can juice sales with this major update of the S and X, it will not only put them leap and bounds ahead of Audi, Jaguar, and Mercedes, it will have a significant impact of Tesla’s revenue by the end of 2019.
