My FYP has been filled with spring pieces and I had to get my hands on them—some are seriously incredible and some had me like… what happened here? I’m sharing honest try-on thoughts, fit notes, and which pieces feel like “looks for less” (very Doên-inspired) so you can shop smarter. I start with my dream gray plaid peasant top (the sleeve poof is perfect) and two romantic, lightweight dresses that give that sweet, whimsical vibe—one of them is a true confidence-boosting, 10/10 moment with adjustable straps and pockets. I also try the viral Levi’s Cinch Barrel jeans, talk through why they didn’t wow me (even though they fit), and share a pair of polka dot gauze shorts I fell in love with. Then we get into the butter yellow button-down I’ve been hunting for, the tank tops that totally disappointed me because of the strap length, and the one black ruched tank that instantly elevated everything. I wrap it up with a new-to-me brand find, a cozy set that didn’t quite work as a set on me, and the most fun chocolate brown fringe sandals that make any basic outfit more interesting.
