Now they want our forests: 660,000 acres of NY forest on chopping block for wind and solar

This bill, sponsored by NYS Senator Rachel May, would give wind and solar corporations access to over 660,000 acres of reforestation zones that were set aside for US, our water, and our wildlife. The best part of all? These zones are tax-free! They are managed by the NYS DEC. That's why the politicians want to open up these lands to corporations. It's all about money.
