Aladdin is the first thing that came to mind when I visited Uzbekistan last year, it's so unknown and odd that it's one of the best kept secrets of the world. Khiva was established 1500 years ago, and is a major hub on the famous Silk Road trail. If you want to experience a far away land frozen in time, be sure to give this place a visit.
