In this video, I show you how I clone the same kind of vertical lead list for free by pulling company names from public software directories (like Capterra) and then enriching them into real decision-maker contacts you can actually email. The flow is simple: grab the ISV company names from a Capterra category page (I use GPT-4o to rip the names out fast), drop them into a Google Sheet, and run an automation in n8n. In n8n, I loop through each company, use Serper to Google “company name + CEO + LinkedIn,” then send the results to GPT to identify the CEO and normalize the output (domain, first/last name, LinkedIn URL). After that, I use Apify to find the email address tied to the LinkedIn profile. End result: a niche CEO list you can cold email—without paying scammy database pricing.
