Wagashi making class
This wagashi-making class was genuinely one of my favorite experiences in Japan—10/10 would recommend. I learned so much (including that the outer layer isn’t mochi… it’s bean on bean on beans), and each design taught a different technique. The interpreter was super helpful since the shop owners didn’t speak much English, and the whole thing felt really warm and personal.
