The Lost Canal of Bradford!

Join me as we explore the unknown and abandoned Emmet's Canal, hidden on the outskirts of Bradford in a suburb called Birkenshaw. This canal was used to transport goods from a working colliery known as Blue Hills Colliery to the Birkenshaw Foundry. The canal was only one mile in length and built in 1782, little is known about this hidden secret lurking away in the fields. We take a closer look at what remains of the canal, and have a look back at it's vague history and facts.
