Exploring Tokyo from the Skytree to the outskirts

Previous video from this trip: https://youtu.be/vILR63faats Next video from this trip: https://youtu.be/jWWAl1IGpXU Playlist for all of the 2023 Japan videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLA4jTF1omJdqmVK33ycRP4zruNGrZuOjF 0:30 We start in our hostel in the sumo wrestling district of Japan called Ryogoku. 2:17 Thomas and Robby then head to the station to head towards the Tokyo Skytree where... 5:04 they have a little lunch at Mos Burger. 6:52 The whole crew met up at the Studio Ghibli store at the bottom of the Skytree. 9:52 We then took the elevator up to the top of the Skytree and saw Tokyo from the highest vantage point in the city. 17:00 We then headed on a long train trip to a town on the outskirts of Tokyo called Kawagoe (also known as Koedo, or "little Edo"). 23:15 Finally, we made it to Kurazukuri street; the main street filled with old warehouse buildings from as far back as the 1800s. 25:07 We were lucky enough to see the the Toki no Kane (Time Bell) ring right on the hour. 28:40 Finally, we had a great dinner with our friend Michael's family in what can only be described as Boku no natsuyasumi in real life. 35:11 And then it was an extremely long set of trains back to Ryogoku before retiring for the night.
